School Uniform

 

We pride ourselves on the standards of presentation visible in all of our children. We believe that being responsible for their presentation is important for the children and that this will carry over into other areas of their life as well.

Classroom uniform

White button up shirt (or blouse)

School blue striped tie

School royal blue jumper with emblem

White or grey socks

Appropriate black shoes preferably without flashing lights. Trainers are not permitted.

(NB: Girls may not wear trousers or shorts)

Tracksuit bottoms and top are recommended (school versions are available)

White trainers are preferable (no bright colours) for outdoor games and plimsols / daps for indoor activities 

A change of socks

For key stage 1 a change of underwear is advisable

A t-shirt of your house colour will be required in the summer term for inter-house competitions

 General guidance:

  • Children are expected to conform to general expectations of most school uniform- shirts tucked in, shoe laces tied up, top button done up etc.
  • During the colder months, school jumpers should be worn with sleeves rolled down but removed for mass.
  • Long hair must be tied back.
  • Make-up or other alterations must not be worn by either gender, including nail varnish and temporary 'transfer tattoos'. Jewellery is also not permitted, with the exception of stud earrings, which should be removed or taped for PE. 
  • PE kit should be available in school from Monday to Friday as our timetable is subject to change.

Most of our school uniform is available from Scholars, located in Chippenham town centre.
