Catholic Schools Inspection July 2026

We are delighted to share with you the outcomes of our recent Catholic Schools Inspection, which took place on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July 2026. 

Following the inspection, we are very pleased to report that the school’s overall effectiveness has been judged to be Good. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and of the positive recognition it gives to our entire school community.

The Catholic Schools Inspection focuses on three key areas:

• Catholic Life and Mission – how faithfully the school responds to the call to live as a Catholic community at the service of the Church’s educational mission.
• Religious Education – the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes in Religious Education.
• Collective Worship – the quality and range of liturgy and prayer provided by the school.

The inspectors recognised the strong commitment of pupils, staff, governors and families in supporting the school's mission and values. They highlighted many strengths across the school and acknowledged the positive culture that enables our children to flourish.

We are extremely proud of these results. Together with the positive outcome from our Ofsted inspection in January 2026, this judgement is further recognition of the significant hard work, dedication and progress that has been made across the school in recent years. It reflects the commitment of our staff, the support of our governors, and the enthusiasm and achievements of our pupils.

While we celebrate this success, we remain ambitious for our school and committed to continuous improvement. The inspection report provides valuable affirmation of our strengths and will also help inform our next steps as we strive to provide the very best education and faith formation for every child.
