Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St Mary's Catholic Primary School

A very warm welcome to St Mary's Catholic Primary School. We thank you for visiting our website.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is unique. The Head teacher role is shared between two experienced, driven school leaders who are passionate about the school, its Catholic foundation and ensuring that all children are able to flourish and reach their potential. As leaders, we have been recognised as highly effective over the school’s recent and continuing improvement journey.

As a leadership team we have worked together since 2019 and have the shared vision of St Mary’s delivering an outstanding education for all children, in a place where Christ and the child are at the centre of all we do.

In line with the school’s mission we believe that we are all children of God, in one community, working together. Our school’s embedded virtues of love and faith, courage, respect, resilience and aspiration shape our children's lives not only now but also into adult life.

We are extremely proud of our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2022). This recognised our well-behaved, confident, respectful and happy children, our talented, dedicated and supportive staff and a wider curriculum that supports every child’s personal, social and emotional development. All children at St Mary's are nurtured to become the best version of themselves that they can be. We welcome children of all, or no faith.

We would love to show you what we have to offer at St Mary’s. Please contact our school office and arrange an appointment to come and visit our wonderful school.
