Lunch Menus

We are pleased to welcome Mrs Symons as our new Cook in Charge here at St Mary's. Mrs Symons has a wealth of experience in both the catering and hospitality industry and we look forward to working with her. We will be making menu changes over the coming weeks bit by bit and will be asking the children most importantly which new dishes are a hit or not! Any changes to the menu will be highlighted and communicated out to everyone.

Please see below for details of our full and nutritious lunch menu. You will see that the menu alternates from week to week, to give the children sufficient choice. Each meal also includes a nutritious dessert, which changes on a daily basis. We have found our lunches to be very popular, and we hope you can see why!

Any allergens present in our lunches are represented by a number after the food. For a full list of allergens, please see here.

All children can have either a hot school dinner or bring in their own packed lunch. Hot school dinners are freshly prepared on site by our catering team. All children from Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. Children in other year groups will need to order and pay for these unless the family are entitled to Free School Meals (FSM).

Copies of the menu are posted on the website each week and on notice boards around the school. A sample menu is also attached. Each morning the children choose what they would like from the menu during registration.

Parents should notify the school of any food allergies or other requirements using the Pupil Information Form. Should your child’s needs change, please notify the School Office.

All lunches are available free of charge to children in Reception up to Y2. Lunches for older children cost £2.30 a day. Lunch for children in Nursery costs £1.80.

Please order lunches on the day through your class teacher.
